The stunning Montanan Mountains have some of the most popular trails in North America. So when the young couple, George and Chloe, set out one morning to walk a trail up to a beauty spot called heavens peak, the last thing they expected was to come face to face with a gang of kidnappers.

George tries to protect Chloe, but can’t save his 19 year old girlfriend from being captured and dragged away to the gang’s hideout. George, who has to survive a fall into white water rapids, sets out to track down his sweetheart and in the process, bring the kidnappers to justice.

This thrilling story involves other victims of the sadistic gang who, it would appear, have been getting away with their horrific crimes for years.

As the story develops, George discovers that he’s not only fighting to save the life of Chloe, but a number of other young women as well.

The story twists and turns, before eventually coming to a dramatic and bloody conclusion. This is a Horror / Action / Thriller / Suspense story and should not be read by anyone with delicate sensibilities.

Vincent was born in Hertfordshire, England and now lives in Lincolnshire (East Midlands).

Whether he’s been running his own business or bringing up 6 children, Vincent has had an eventful and fulfilling life in England.

Working from a small cosy office and with only the occasional company of the family cat, Atlas, Vincent weaves his stories, in between running the kids to school and making their dinners.

He entered the literary world after a second brush with cancer and has been writing ever since.

An avid reader of horror, science fiction and detective novels, Vincent is determined to bring some, or all of these subjects into his own work and hopefully thrill his readers.

Horror and fantasy remain Vincent’s favourite subject matter. His new novel ‘Backwoods Terror’ illustrates the horror aspect of his writing, whilst ‘The Seven Spells of Qatain’ (The first of a series) is very much a fantasy /science fiction novel aimed at a young adult audience.

“We’d better get back Kaylie,” Caytor urged. "The heavens are going to open any moment." 
Kaylie turned to face her friend, who hadn’t followed her example by climbing on a rock. His wet blonde hair lay flat against his scalp, whilst he bobbed up and down, treading water. Even though it was gloomy, his infectious blue eyes shone brightly and dazzled her.
“I find electric storms thrilling Caytor,” Kaylie said, just as a clap of thunder exploded with a shattering bang. She paused, whilst the remnants of the sound rolled away into the distance, before catching her breath when yet another flash of lightning lit up the sky. “We’re guests on this planet and we’ve arrived at a time when it’s very angry,” the youngster observed.
